Alabama Rivers, Flora & Fauna-PLEASE REGISTER HERE so we can send you the supplies for this lesson.

In this lesson, integrating visual arts with science, math, and English language arts, you will create a small, three-dimensional book about Alabama rivers, flora and fauna, with pop-up images and text.
You will be encouraged to discuss the importance of Alabama’s unique rivers to the health of the State’s environment with your students and to help them research geological features, flora & fauna unique to a river watershed near their location.

Registered participants will receive free printed lesson plans, images and resources, and a set of supplies to use when you return to school.

The lesson has 2 parts, each about 25 minutes long, and we suggest you take a short break after creating the 2-D part of your book to allow the watercolor to dry. You will need to have your supplies ready before you begin.
